COACHING PROGRAM FOR THERAPISTS
A Direct Approach to Transforming Shame
Master the art of working with clients’ shame in a powerful, direct way that leaves you feeling confident and equipped to face their deepest fears and self-judgments. Guide your clients from unrelenting self-criticism to deep emotional wellbeing with our transformative, five-week coaching program designed specifically for therapists.
They are of course, essential starting points, but shame needs specific interventions and strategies that allow you to stay connected and attuned with your clients’ global negative self-appraisals while also working to loosen their hold over your clients’ lives. That’s where “Transforming Shame” comes in - to offer you an effective blueprint to healing your clients’ shame (and possibly even a bit of your own along the way!)
Sometimes compassion and attunement are not enough to heal the pervasive staying power of shame.
A ROADMAP FOR HEALING SHAME
Transforming Shame
Your training to have unconditional positive regard for your client may be inadvertently undermining your ability to work with your clients’ shame directly! This is because shame needs therapists to be quite active and very direct in their therapy sessions - otherwise the shame state can take over the client’s entire nervous system - and can even spread to YOU, the therapist! Your imposter syndrome may emerge when working with clients’ pervasive shame and you might find yourself asking “what am I doing wrong?” when a client reports feeling worse at the end of a therapy session.
A five-week, 10-hour live coaching program designed for therapists who want to feel confident and comfortable working with clients’ unrelenting shame narratives.
The key is that shame is essentially a misunderstanding that feels like the deepest, most unshakeable truth.
What if you could guide your clients in actually healing their shame?
What if you could do that without them getting overwhelmed or frozen by it?
What if you could do that without feeling stymied by their impenetrable shame?
When we can safely move into the shame state and move out of it - seeing it clearly for what it is - we can slowly but surely, liberate our clients from its enduring grip...

“Being able to help clients remain in their window of tolerance while feeling shame is a miracle - my clients are now able to talk about their shame beliefs without getting completely consumed by them!
— E.T., LMFT
CONFIDENTLY NAVIGATE AND HEAL CLIENT SHAME
Imagine if you could stop avoiding your client’s shame and instead welcome it with confidence and work with it directly, knowing you now have a roadmap that helps you navigate the treacherous terrain of deeply embodied shame narratives.
Working with shame is unlike working with our other human emotions. It requires specific strategies that allow us to validate the felt-sense of the client’s experience without reinforcing the abiding belief that the shame-state is deserved.
After working with me, therapists feel confident and calm - with a clear blueprint that offers a guide to interactions that transform shame right there in the therapy room. They now have a tangible protocol to use to meet the shame directly - unlocking the hold that clients’ shame beliefs have over their lives (and over the therapy process!). These strategies shift clients out of a rigid and immobilized state into a state of freedom where they can relate to shame in a way that heals it at its roots!

MEET YOUR COACH
I’m driven by a mission: to empower therapists in tackling shame with clarity, compassion, and confidence. For over eight years, I’ve honed techniques that help clients unravel the isolating tangle of shame, and for the past five years, I’ve been teaching therapists how to do the same. My passion lies in helping other professionals move from feeling “stuck” to truly transforming shame’s hold on their clients, allowing for meaningful and lasting healing.
As both an educator and therapist myself, I guide therapists with practical, evidence-based strategies to bring this blueprint to life in their sessions. In my work as a supervisior within my group practice and as an adjunct faculty member at Sonoma State University, I aim to inspire others to see shame not as a barrier but as an opportunity for profound change, one that brings clients a greater sense of wellbeing and a closer connection to themselves and others. Through my training, I’m committed to creating a generation of therapists who can work directly with shame to heal it in a way that feels real and transformative for every client they meet. I am trauma-informed and a Certified IFS Therapist (CSL-2039) but YOU do not need to know anything about IFS to learn how to work with shame in the therapy room! I am also a Healing Shame Practioner certified by the Center for Healing Shame in Berkeley, CA.
